I help runners dealing with a running-related injury get back to running ASAP. From there we will work to keep you running even stronger than before.
Specialized Care over General Treatment
As an injured runner, why should you work with me, a running-specialized Physical Therapist over a general Physical Therapist in a traditional physical therapy clinic?
Let me tell you why!
As a fellow runner, I understand your need, want, and drive to get back to running ASAP. I get the emotional and physical toll not running brings you. I will work directly with you to get you back to running ASAP and will work to keep you running even stronger than before.
By working with me, you will get:
- Convenient in-person and virtual support,
- My practice is mobile, meaning we can meet wherever (including your house or my gym),
- Appointment length is based on your unique needs,
- Support and communication between sessions, and;
- I won’t only help you with your running-related injury, rehabbing the tissue with the issue and getting you back to running. I will keep you running with the goal of running even better than you were before by addressing movement efficiency and helping to build mobility and strength work that fits your life and is programmed for what your body needs.
Opting to work with a general Physical Therapist in a traditional Physical Therapy clinic would look significantly different. stronger than before.
By working with general Physical Therapy, you will get:
- Rigid appointment length and structure, deemed appropriate by the company or insurance,
- You will most likely work with aides or assistants and not your Doctor of Physical Therapy for the full appointment,
- Communication between appointments will be minimal to none because companies and insurance do not pay for that,
- With limited appointment time, there will be a lack of time to build a robust run, strength, and mobility training that is individually designed for you.
What will you choose?
If you are an injured runner and are looking to get back to running ASAP, I urge you to seek help from myself or another specialized Physical Therapist. Let’s not waste any more time, your goals are still within reach!
Trust me, I was a general Physical Therapist for years until I became an injured runner myself. It was then I learned the importance of specialization. Let’s get you back to doing what you love and keep you doing that!
